Our studio does not offer flash designs; instead, we focus on custom artistry, ranging from realism and portraits (both color and black and grey) to new school designs and script lettering.

While we are open to a wide array of artistic challenges, we do not offer permanent face makeup services. Our ultimate goal is to align our artistic vision with your personal preferences, ensuring a tattoo that you will cherish.

HOW MUCH WILL MY TATTOO COST?
At Explozos Tattoos, our pricing is determined based on the specific tattoo you're interested in. We don't have fixed prices because each tattoo is unique. While we don't provide a pricing breakdown, we ensure that the cost reflects the intricacy and size of your chosen design.

TATTOO APPROVAL
In most cases, we do not perform cover-ups, touch-ups, or alterations to tattoos created by other artists, unless the artist approves it. We encourage a blank canvas. If you're considering a unique idea, we're always open to discussing it. In-person consultations are highly recommended for effective communication.

HOW LONG IS A FULL DAY SESSION?
A full-day tattoo session at Explozos Tattoos typically spans approximately 8 hours. This includes a consultation with your artist, design approval, stencil creation, and the actual tattooing process. Rest assured, the design phase doesn't mean 8 hours of continuous tattooing. We specialize in both large, multi-day projects and smaller, half-day sessions, depending on your preference.

THE DESIGN PROCESS
Just like Joser Rosales's approach at Explozos Tattoos, all our tattoos are custom-designed on the day of your appointment. We recommend selecting an artist based on their portfolio, trusting their artistic input, and allowing them to bring your idea to life. Everything you see in our artists' portfolios was custom-made for clients on the day of their tattoo. Unfortunately, we cannot pre-design your tattoo before the appointment. Your design concept will be pre-approved by our Booking Manager, who collaborates directly with the artist. On the day of your tattoo, you'll describe your tattoo ideas to your artist, and they will create a custom design just for you. You don't need to bring references to your appointment; our artists are skilled at helping you find images that will translate into high-quality tattoos. Simply showing a few ideas on your phone or describing your vision verbally is perfect!

DOES MY DEPOSIT GO TOWARDS THE TATTOO COST?
Yes, your deposit secures your appointment with your chosen artist at Explozos Tattoos. The full deposit amount will be applied to the cost of your tattoo session. You'll settle the remaining balance directly with the artist on the day of your tattoo. Please note that without a deposit, you do not have a confirmed appointment. Deposits are non-refundable, and rescheduling requires a minimum of 72 hours notice.

WHY MIGHT MY IDEA NOT GET APPROVED?
While we're open to exploring a wide range of tattoo ideas, there are some common reasons for rejections, such as cover-ups, touch-ups, working around other artists' tattoos, copying existing designs, or requesting a style outside our specialization. However, we're always willing to review your ideas and may have another artist who is interested in working with you.

OTHER
In accordance with California regulations, no pets or children under the age of 18 are permitted at Explozos Tattoos. Additionally, California law mandates that individuals must be at least 18 years old to legally receive a tattoo.
To secure your booking, a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required. This deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a future tattoo session. Should you need to reschedule, please do so more than 48 hours in advance to avoid losing your deposit.
